Welcome to our new member Tom Sanford

Tom and his wife Candy live in Stonington, CT. Tom was born in 1946, attended Bronxville Public School, Columbia College "68, US Navy 1968-1970, Columbia Business School MBA '72, worked for Irving Trust, then the Bank of New Your for 30 years. Candy was born in 1948, grew up in and around Stonington, Graduated from the Williams School in NL, Wheaton College '70 and Columbia Teachers School around 1977. They lived in London, 1979-1987.

Pettipaug Quad? Bill Plage is proposing the purchase of a quad. "The bottom line is I have found a used quad that is eight years old and in great shape. The owner wants $4000 for it but may take less. It is a light heavyweight so it fits our members and also would probably accommodate our women rowers as long as all four rowers were not the size and weight of Doreen. ...My vision would be that a number of the PYC members who were interested in rowing a larger boat would contribute to its purchase by way of donation. We would have to formulate some rules among the contributors as to its daily and race usage and determine how we would pay for its maintenance, insurance, etc."
